- Church votes to build a sanctuary. 1940
- Plans for new Church unveiled. Canvassing for funds begun. 1941
- Doors of the new sanctuary opened for Easter worship services - 11th anniversary. 1944
- Church debt-free. Ten-year loan paid off in 30 months. 1948
- First wing of Sunday School building completed. 1952
- Steeple bell tower and chimes installed. 1954
- Education building on Troupe Street completed. 1956
- The Guest House, 1111 Troupe Street purchased. 1961
- Third Unit of Education Building completed. 1965
- 2161 Kings Way purchased for parking lot. 1975
- Church celebrates 45th anniversary debt free. Missionary House, 2168 Kings Way
purchased. 1977
- Thirty acres on Skinner Mill Road purchased for future Family Life Center. 1980
- Celebration of 50th Anniversary 1983
- Extensive Repairs to Sanctuary, two education buildings and equipment updated. 1987
- Renovation of Social Hall and west wing Education building. 1988
- Sanctuary windows replaced with stained glass windows. 1990
- Ground broken July 8th for Ministries Building. 1991
- Family Life Center Ministries Building completed. Sunday School started in September. 1993
- Long Range Action Plan presented. Intercessory Prayer Room opened. 1994
- Staff position established primarily for Family Life Center. 1996
- Modification to Activities building. 1998
- Constitution and Bylaws revised. Interfaith Hospitality Network, 1st in State,
opens at Hill West. Two modular units purchased for Hill West. Church is debt
free. 1999
- Long Range/Ad Hoc Committee presents studies and proposal of future direction
for consideration. Open forums held for discussion on proposals. 2000
- Affirmative vote for Hill West to become a separate church. Seventieth Anniversary
Celebrated. Commissioning /Blessing service held for new church.
