As those who have been eternally changed by the sending of Jesus by God the Father, we seek to be sent out into the world to extend this life changing message of the gospel to those around us.  One of the ways this happens is through our Missional Communities.  A Missional Community (MC) is a group of people who are living a Christ-centered life by faith together within a certain target area in order to be a blessing to those in that area.  In 2012 we will launch our first Missional Community and would love for you to be part of it.  For more info contact Ron Jones at ron.jones@uscm.org.

Sunday School classes focus on taking the timeless truth of God's Word and bringing it to life - your life! Whatever your age or stage in life, there's a group for you and every member of your family.

In these classes you will cultivate intimate friendships with the people who will encourage you, rejoice with you, pray for you, and stand beside you in all stages of life. Our desire is that through your Sunday School affiliation you will experience Christian community not only on Sunday morning, but also during the week as you shares meals, do bible studies, and serve alongside one another.

The core values of our Children's Ministry are found in Luke 2:52 where it says that "Jesus grew in wisdom, and in stature and in favor with God and man". Our ministry philosophy is rooted in the principles found in that verse. Our prayer is that children come to genuine saving faith in Christ and develop into fully devoted followers of Him. Our primary strategy to help Children grow in their faith and relationships with one another is through Sunday School Classes and the small groups within them.  We also offer Children's Choir on Sunday evenings from 6-7pm for grades 1-5.  On Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30 we offer Children in Action classes for children 4 years old through 6th grade.

The Hill Youth is a friendly community of young believers. Come hang out with us on a Wednesday or Sunday sometime, we love to meet new people. We play ridiculous games, go on amazing trips, and have the craziest Lock Ins (as you can see from our pictures). We have a partnership with CRU (Campus Crusade for Christ) at Augusta State University and Faith in Practice at Georgia Health Sciences University.  These partnerships were formed in order to be more effective in reaching college and graduate students for Christ.  We strongly encourage you to get involved with these minsitries and get plugged into our Christian community on Sunday mornings and/or evenings.

The Choir and Vocal Teams help lead our congregation in worship through music during the morning services. They also present several special productions throughout the year.  Contact Bob Walker for how you can get involved.
